Six Team Records at AGUA Time Trials!

AGUA swimmers did a fantastic job at our annual Time Trials last Friday.  Six new team records were set and many of our swimmers achieved personal best times.  We are so pleased with the high participation in the event.  Great job, swimmers!

 

§  Alessia McGowan set a new team record in the 9-10 Girls 200-yard Backstroke with her time of 2:33.00 (Previous Record: 2:35.83—Sophie Halper, February 2009).  Alessia also set a new record in the 9-10 Girls 200-yard Breaststroke swimming a lifetime best 2:50.07 (Previous Record: 2:52.01—Rebecca Teng, January 2003).

§  Nadia Eguchi set a new team record in the 9-10 Girls 200-yard Butterfly with her time of 2:46.04 (Previous Record: 2:48.11—Sophie Halper, February 2009).

§  Noah Fields reset his own team record in the 8 & Under Boys 100-yard Backstroke with his lifetime best 1:29.87 (Previous Record: 1:32.32—Noah Fields, October 2009).  Noah also set a new team record in the 8 & Under Boys 200-yard IM with his time of 3:13.07 (Previous Record: 3:14.96—Hugo Lowell, February 2008).

§  Cole Collier set a new team record in the 9-10 Boys 200-yard Butterfly with his time of 2:39.27 (Previous Record: 2:53.45—Ernst Bejamin, December 2007).
